Day 1 : Arrival at the Kilimanjaro International Airport

As you leave Kilimanjaro International Airport, your own Summerwinter Adventures guide welcomes you with a wide smile: ‘Karibu Tanzania – welcome to Tanzania!’ The guide brings you directly to your accommodation, where you can rest and soak up the African environment. The next day, your guide takes you on an exclusive, private safari where you can go at your own speed. Enjoy the luxury of your own safari jeep and the freedom to stop and watch the wildlife for as long as you want!

Day 2 : TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Tarangire National Park is renowned for its large elephant herds and abundance of massive baobab trees. These trees can live for hundreds of years and provide as a source of water for elephants during the dry season, as they have a unique mechanism for drawing water from them. Furthermore, the Tarangire River is the only supply of water during the dry season, which is why at Tarangire you can witness groups of up to 250 elephants alongside many other animals!.

Day 3-4: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – CENTRAL WEST/EAST

Serengeti National Park is well-known as a safari destination, owing primarily to the Great Migration that passes through it. The massive, stampeding herds are stunning, as is the large number of predators that live here: over 4,000 lions, 225 cheetahs, a thousand leopards, 3500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs. Of course, there are many other magnificent species that your guide will be pleased to seek for with you. Are you prepared for this?

Day 5 : NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

The renowned Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s seven natural wonders. The crater was created two million years ago when a massive volcano erupted. The fertile lava has formed a unique environment that currently supports the highest population of animals seen anyplace in Africa! Once within the crater, thousands of animals like as lions, zebras, buffalos, and black rhinos surround you, and the sights are breathtaking – you won’t know where to look!

Day 6 : FLIGHT TO ZANZIBAR – INCLUDED

Today, you’ll fly to Zanzibar, the spice island. Our guide will pick you up from the airport and transport you to your accommodation. Over the next four days, you can explore white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquoise oceans, and spectacular coral reefs. Are you into culture? Then, visit Stone Town and learn about its unique history. Foodies can also visit the spice plantations to sample the various flavors of the delectable local food. A tropical paradise awaits you!

Day 7-9: ZANZIBAR

The ultimate paradise has arrived: beautiful, tropical Zanzibar! The Indian Ocean’s pristine blue waves and palm-fringed, white sand beaches are almost too stunning to believe. Buy a fresh coconut drink on the beach, spend hours sunbathing or swimming, and eat exquisite Zanzibari cuisine. Are you in the mood for anything active? Then, participate in a variety of activities to explore the beach, water, and island. We strongly recommend the safari blue cruise or a visit to Stone Town.

Day 10-11: FLIGHT HOME FROM ZANZIBAR AIRPORT

Today is the last day! Depending on your flight time, you can either relax on the beach or continue exploring the island. A driver then brings you to Zanzibar International Airport in time for your return journey. Are you reconsidering your decision? It is also feasible to extend your stay to another beautiful island, such as Mnemba, Pemba, or Mafia.
