The Marangu Route is the oldest and one of the most popular paths up Mount Kilimanjaro. Known for its gradual slopes, comfortable hut accommodations, and well-trodden trails, it is ideal for climbers seeking a less rugged experience. Over 6 days, trekkers ascend through lush rainforest, moorland, and alpine desert before reaching the summit at Uhuru Peak (5,895 m / 19,341 ft).

This is where all of your planning becomes a reality: your safari starts now. Tanzania is such a wonderful country when it comes to wildlife and beautiful landscapes. After we greet you and answer any questions you might have, we'll take great pleasure in taking you out and showing you what we mean. Mt Kilimanjaro is more than Africa’s highest peak. It is also one of the continent’s most challenging yet rewarding expeditions
You should sleep well at Mandara Hut, which lies at an altitude of 2700m along the Marangu Route for climbing Mt Kilimanjaro. You're below the tree line, which means there are forests all around. Accommodation is in simple bunk beds, and the hut always has lots of fellow climbers for you to meet and swap stories with. Enjoy the rest while your body prepares to continue.

Horombo Hut lies at an impressive altitude of 3720m and is surrounded by the moorlands that sit above the tree line on the slopes of Mt Kilimanjaro. Catch up with other climbers who are doing the Marangu Route, and sleep in the simple bunk beds that you find in most of the huts on this, Africa's highest mountain.

Stay as high on Mt Kilimanjaro as you're allowed to sleep, at Kibo Hut at an altitude of 4703m. The hut is a less-than-two-hour walk from the summit of the mountain. Everyone who reaches here has done some serious walking so the sense of shared achievement is everywhere in the people you'll meet. Sleep in simple bunk beds and enjoy the alpine desert that surrounds the hut.
You'll stay with us at Karanga Camp(6km/4-5hours).
