You've been dreaming of your Tanzanian safari for so long and the day when it begins has finally arrived. We'll greet you, give you a quick rundown on what happens next and answer your questions. Then we'll take you out to discover what this incredible country has to offer. Many travelers rate Tarangire among their favorite national parks anywhere in Tanzania. Here in Tarangire, you can look for lions, leopards, and cheetahs. But you won’t have to look hard to see baboons, vervet monkeys, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and zebras. And you’ll come across elephants and baobabs everywhere, two giants of the African bush. Also an enjoyable part of your Tarangire experience will be the rolling savannah scenery, which includes rivers and low hills. And while it can get busy, crowds of cars will not be a problem here.
You’ll want to spend as long as you can wandering the beautiful gardens at Eileen’s Trees Inn. Our lush greenery and flowers shelter all manner of birds, and provide you with shade and a sense of calm. Inside the thatched cottages, get a good night’s rest in tastefully decorated rooms with soothing colors, curved walls and plenty of space. Colonial decor dominates the dining room, where our meals are of the highest quality.

There's nowhere in Tanzania where you have a better chance of seeing big cats than in the Central Serengeti. You'll also see lots of other animals as you explore the savannah grasslands and silhouetted acacia trees with us. This is the Serengeti's heartland and it is the most popular area of the park, but with very good reason.
There aren't many better locations for a tented camp than where you'll sleep at Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp. You're not far north of Seronera, in the Central Serengeti, which means that all of the park's incredible wildlife is never far away. But you're also in a quiet corner of the savannah, away from the other camps which ensures a tranquil stay. The camp has large and simply furnished safari tents where you can lie in bed and listen for lions at night.Enjoy your meals under a million stars.

Explore the Northern Serengeti and get to know one of the park's most beautiful corners. Wildlife viewing is excellent all through the year, but that is especially the case whenever the migration passes through. This is also the area of the park that sees the fewest visitors, which means you can enjoy the river, grasslands, rocky scenery and the animals without interruption.
You'll feel really close to nature when you stay at Sero Tented Camp. It's in wildlife-filled Seronera, close to the center of the Serengeti, and the tents feel like the safari tents of old with their canvas walls and floors and simple furnishings. You'll love lying in bed and listening to lions roaring or elephants feeding close by, and by day animals sometimes move through the camp. Dine under the stars and enjoy the warmest of welcomes every time you return to camp.

Return to the Northern Serengeti, and discover again why it's many travelers' favorite corner of the park.
Return to Sero Tented Camp as you enjoy more time in the Central Serengeti.

Return for more time at Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp, and enjoy again its outstanding location.

Ngorongoro is a special place and the first time that you descend onto the crater floor is like no other safari experience in Africa. This is a world unto itself, one where you’ll encounter the crater’s 600-strong population of hyenas, as well as critically endangered black rhinos. You’ll also find elephants with larger-than-average tusks, and more than 50 lions living in the crater. But it’s the sheer beauty of Ngorongoro that will most likely live longest in your memory. From early morning, mist rises from the crater, revealing steep, forested walls, secret waterways where hippos wallow, and a world of abundant wildlife hidden away from the rest of the world. All good things must come to an end, and your time with us on safari in Tanzania will now draw to a close. We're sure that you've had a wonderful time.
