Package Overview
The 8 Days Rongai Route is an officially recognized Kilimanjaro climbing route that approaches Mount Kilimanjaro from the north, close to the Kenya–Tanzania border. This itinerary extends the standard Rongai climb by one additional day, improving acclimatization before the summit attempt.
The route is characterized by steady gradients, lower traffic during the early stages, and wide views of the northern plains and Mawenzi Peak. The descent follows the Marangu Route.
